Welcome to our one-of-a-kind watercolour painting workshop with professional artist Teresa Decinti, designed to cover a variety of techniques and bring out your inner artist!
Watercolour painting is a beautiful art form that requires a wide range of techniques to master. In this workshop, you will learn techniques such as graded washes, wet on wet painting, wet on dry watercolour painting, dry brush, variegated washes, splattering, watercolour dripping, glazing, and colour mixing, to name a few.
Teresa Decinti is a passionate artist who is dedicated to her craft and environment. Her work is vibrant and explores the endless use of colour. In this tailor-made workshop, Teresa will guide you through step-by-step demonstrations of painting with a landscape as the focus. You’ll be blown away by the unique and intriguing use of colour, subject matter, transparency, and texture that she demonstrates.
Learning to simplify the complexity of a landscape by simple brushstrokes is a lot harder than it looks. Decinti tends to move in the direction of abstraction while using colour and light in her work, achieving a fine balance between realism and abstraction.
Watercolour can be challenging, but with Teresa’s gentle approach, you’ll learn to avoid overworking the colours, which can cause them to become muddy. By joining this workshop, you’ll explore new ways of achieving texture and a whole new world of colour. No previous experience is needed, and all materials and equipment will be provided.
