There really is no shortage of things to do in Stellenbosch, especially for anyone who enjoys experiencing the raw yet beautifully refined culture of Cape Town and South Africa.
Stellenbosch is a hub of art, culture, music and unshakeable self-expression and that’s why I love it here.
So, when you are looking for reasons to visit Stellenbosch, you don’t need to look very far; whether you are a tourist, someone who has just moved to the Mother City or a life-long local.

Wine Tasting in Stellenbosch
Having an art gallery in Stellenbosch, I feel extremely
connected to the winelands as well as the majestic mountain ranges that
surround the quaint little town.
The street that my gallery is found on is filled with
vibrancy – from cute coffee shops to local art vendors and other art galleries

The Festive Season is a wonderful time of year. It’s a time filled with family, friends and hopefully great food. It’s also a time for giving – not only gifts, but also love and time.
Spending time with loved ones and sharing the love during the holidays is something we look forward to all year round.
This year our art gallery in Stellenbosch will be closed on the 25th & 26th December and the 1st, 2nd, 3rd January 2019.

Last week I was invited to speak at a Vinicultural and Oenology event held at the JH Neethling building at Stellenbosch University.
The event was centred around the beauty of wine and South Africa’s vibrant wine industry. It was also aimed at highlighting professionalism in the industry and the opportunities available to up and coming winemakers and students wanting to enter the trade.
Being a wine event, you may wonder why a South African artist was invited to deliver a talk?

I am a South African Artist living in Stellenbosch. My art gallery in Stellenbosch is located in Church Street – a vibrant, culture filled street with many local attractions.
Living in South Africa, I have always been stirred by the local flora and fauna, and I often find myself dreaming of different ideas to paint.
My inspiration comes from all over and I’m very grateful for the beauty that surrounds me.
I believe art should be shared and the stories behind each piece told. Every artist and their artwork have background stories, but not all have the space to express them – I am fortunate...
